The Urantia book is a message-revelation directed to the humanity of the Earth planet. It is about a series of documents that make a significant contribution to the religious, philosophical and scientific thought, for all the people of the planet. It is not a new religion, neither a new rule of life for our permanently changing world, but it is a spiritual guide directed to the human beings of the 21st century, to all those who own an open mind and a brave heart and are interested in the search of God, the truth of the life and the reason for the creation of the world.

The information about the appearance of the Earth planet and the entire universe, gets to our world through the Urantia Book and, it covers approximately a million years in relation with the history of the humanity. According to the Urantiano text, there are five great epochal and other partials revelations received through the prophets. Based on them, the different churches in our planet have been created.

Before the revelation of the Urantia book, the fourth revelation took place, consisting on the presence and lessons of our Creator God, Michael of Nebadon, in called Jesus Christ our planet.

The Urantia book is the Fifth Revelation, the most advanced of all the previous revelations. Obviously in the 20th Century, humanity has improved its knowledge and it can now understand the science of heaven in a suitable level. The authors of the documents of Urantia are celestial beings of different unknown orders in Earth and were chosen especially to realize this Revelation in a comprehensible language for humans in these times. Those written documents by celestial beings were compiled in a book, because that presentation corresponds suitably to the intellectual level of the contemporary human being.

The Urantia book is divided in four parts: The First one, is a little bit complicated for the human understanding, it refers to the Deities of the Paradisiac Trinity, the organization and the administration of the Universes, topics totally unknown for the earthly churches.

The Second Part is dedicated to our Local Universe of Nebadon. It explains the physical appearance of this universe and the creation of the celestial beings who worked untiringly for the progress of the Local Universe. The Universal Father is the First Source and Center of everything that exists in the Great Universe and is represented in the Local Universe of Nebadon by its Creator Son, Michael of Nebadon. There is another divine representative close to him, the Creator daughter, known by the Christian church as the Holy Spirit.

The Third Part of the Urantia book relates the history of Urantia from the origin of the Solar System, the formation of the Earth planet, its geologic development and the sprouting of the vegetal, animal and human lives. According to Urantia, the first human being was born almost a million years ago, as a son of a pair of superior primates, in the forests of Asia, approximately where Afghanistan is located now. The book also refers to the mission of Adam and Eve in our planet, which began 38,000 years ago and failed 500 years later, and to the consequences of the rebellion of Lucifer and their effects on the progress of the humanity. It also explains the possibilities we have of survival beyond the physical death, through other super material future lives in architectonic planets, many consecutive ascending lives in our way towards the Paradise.

The Fourth Part reveals for the first time in 2.000 years the complete information about the life of Jesus Christ in the Earth planet, from his birth to his crucifixion. It describes, year after year, his childhood, his youth, his trips and the troubles he underwent in his life, the lessons he gave to his apostles and their rescuing mission. The material life of our Creator Jesus Christ constitutes an example and a valuable guide for our lives in this planet.

The Urantia book is an epistle for humanity that can completely change the human life and its vision of the world. The information of these documents enriches the mind of men with the understanding of the greatness of the organization and operation of all the Cosmos. It also explains the intention of our lives and the place that human beings occupy in the universe. Each person understands the lessons of the Urantia Book in different ways, according to his intellectual, spiritual and cultural level. For that reason each person process in a unique way the data compiled in the book, but those who are able to surpass the dogmas of the previous lessons and want to achieve the cosmic knowledge, can also hear the spiritual call of the truth. The Urantia Book has the virtue to make them ascend to very elevated intellectual and spiritual levels.

ETERNAL SURVIVOR

The most important thing in human life is to gain the eternal survival. Most of the people are not conscious of this important event. As intelligent beings, men know they are sons of nature, and they also know that material sciences, mathematical, physical, chemical, biology, are not able to discern the survival of the individual personality yet. Nevertheless, the intelligent human being can deduce, according to reason and logic, that the divine wisdom would not limit his existence to a single life in the level of the matter. But it is not possible to deduce, how the other later cosmic lives after corporal death would be.

The Urantia book teaches us the way to eternity. The celestial beings own an eternal life in the spiritual state. Between spiritual and material life exists an enormous breach, and the intermediate and transitory state between these states is “the morontial life “, an unknown state of existence in our planet. Although it is impossible to obtain scientific tests of the divinity, the intention of the true religion is to combine the mortal with the divine things, the partisan with the total, the imperfect with the perfect things, the man with God.

The way to obtain the eternal life is to decide to make conscientiously the will of God in each act of life. This decision guides the human being to the understanding of the cosmic values and is the unique passport for the eternal life inside a universe of love, law, unit and progressive profit towards the Deity.
